Methodology
Facts first. Analysis second. Decisions stay yours.
Induvaya is designed to narrow a market question with traceable evidence—not to manufacture certainty or replace buyer validation.
1. Product classification
We search a structured Harmonized System directory using the product name and the material, use, form, and packaging details you provide. Candidate codes are suggestions until you explicitly confirm one.
Six-digit HS classification is not always sufficient for shipment or policy decisions. The workspace therefore keeps confirmation of the applicable eight-digit Indian line as a separate readiness task.
2. Market ranking
For a confirmed HS code, we rank destination markets by India’s reported export value in a common calendar year. Noise-level rows below the platform threshold are removed, and the shortlist is capped so the decision stays usable.
The market signal is intentionally simple: a destination’s export value divided by the value of the largest destination in the shortlist, multiplied by 100. A signal of 100 means “largest observed market,” not “guaranteed best market” or “best fit for your business.”
3. Direction of travel
Where a comparable historical record exists, Induvaya calculates compound annual export growth across a three-year interval. If history is unavailable, we say so rather than presenting missing data as growth.
4. Price realization
For detailed product records with usable shipment weight, price realization is calculated as declared export value divided by net weight. The displayed average is weighted by shipment value and weight; floor and ceiling markers reduce the influence of extreme records where enough observations exist.
5. What the analysis cannot tell you
Reported trade is historical evidence. It does not prove current buyer demand, margin, market access, product compliance, logistics viability, payment risk, or your ability to win against incumbents. Published values may also be revised.
Use the shortlist to decide where to investigate first. Confirm classification, current requirements, landed economics, and real buyer interest before committing inventory.
